Old Boys Leopards
The Australian Army Rugby Union Old Boys is made up of a number of people who have previously represented the Australian Army in Rugby Union post 1980 against Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian Air Force as well as domestic & international fixtures and fixtures against armed forces from all over the world.
Importantly, prior to 1980 the National Inter-Service Carnival was contested by State Combined Services teams so if you were an Army player in any of these teams then you are also eligible, subject to confirmation, to be a member of the Australian Army Rugby Union Old Boys!
The Australian Army Rugby Union Old Boys are known as the 'Leopards' – not because they are rusting outside of RSL Clubs but because they never change their spots!
The Australian Army Rugby Union Old Boys also has a number of members who have been involved as coaches, team management, sponsors or executive committee members.
